An exciting day today! I’ve just received an invitation from the Plucks Gutter WI in Kent to give my presentation at their September meeting. Apparently the sister-in-law of the Plucks Gutter Director attended my talk at our local WI and was inspired. Today’s topic: Recipes For those days when I am out and about and busy with shopping, gardening, or whatever else takes my fancy, I have found it very useful to have some easy recipes to hand that Glynn can prepare while I am out so when I get back my tea is ready and waiting! Here I am at yet another one of life’s milestones: my very first blog posting! As with other changes, it is a bit scary and a bit thrilling all at the same time. My grandson assures me that this is a brilliant way to connect with people, and after my recent success at the local WI meeting, I thought I would try my hand at blogging to see if there are others out there who might benefit from my experience.
